CONAGRA TENTATIVE AGREEMENT!!

After several sessions the Teamsters Local # 878 Negotiating Committee reached a "Tentative Agreement" with the Company on Friday, March 30, 2012.
Some of the highlights of the proposed new Contract are:
* .40/hr Minimum General Wage Increase each year
* Limits on Health Insurance Costs
*Increased Pension Contributions
*Insurance Wellness Program
A ratification vote will be held starting at 5:00 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 and members are encouraged to attend to discuss the details of the proposed Agreement and to cast your ballot. The vote will be held in the "RED ROOM" at Conagra to provide members with the most convenient opportunity to participate in this important process.

REGISTER FOR THE 2012 TEAMSTER WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

The 2012 Teamster Women’s Conference will be held August 23-25, 2012 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square in San Francisco, California. The opening session will be held Thursday, August 23rd at 2:00 p.m. and the conference will adjourn at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25th.
A room block has been set up at the Hilton which is located at 333 O'Farrell Street, San Francisco, California. To receive the special Women’s Conference room rate of $175.00, please call the hotel at 1-800-445-8667 by no later than July 23, 2012 and ask for the Teamster rate. Our ID is "TWC."
Registration for the conference can be done in one of two ways:
1. Go to www.teamster.org/women to register online, or
2. Fill out the attached registration form and fax it to 202-624-6851.
